BIO
Jenni Green is a well-respected leader in dance medicine, serving the entertainment industry for decades. Having been a professional dancer herself, Jenni understands the rigor of an athletic career. She is passionate about helping her clients perform to their highest potential and is especially committed to empowering her patients to take ownership of the health and wellness of their bodies, allowing them the confidence to pursue their passions without fear of injury.
For 20 years, Jenni owned PhysioArts, the premier performing arts physical therapy clinic in New York City. Through her work at PhysioArts, she served more than 100 productions including Broadway (Hamilton, Aladdin, Book of Mormon, Chicago, etc), Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center Theatre, Pop tours (Madonna), and Film and TV (Smash, The Greatest Showman, The Producers, etc). She has served concert dancers from ABT, The Royal Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Paul Taylor Dance, Complexions, and more, as well as providing preventive care to pre-professional schools such as Ellison Ballet and Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Academy.
Jenni has extensive training in manual physical therapy and is a Certified Functional Manual Therapistâ„¢ through The Institute of Physical Art. She has taught extensively with Integrative Manual Therapy Solutions and The Institute of Physical Art, nationally renowned continuing education resources for practicing physical therapists. In addition, she has lectured on physical therapy for performing artists at numerous conventions and universities, including the American Physical Therapy Association, The International Association for Dance Medicine and Science, Principles of Dance Medicine, Stony Brook University, and Touro College. Jenni holds a certification in Vinyasa-style yoga from Om Yoga and has pursued continuing medical education in integrative medicine with a focus on nutrition and herbal medicine in addition to a wide variety of manual therapy approaches.
